A Business-Government Dialogue on U.S. Trade Expansion Objectives - November 15, 2000

Issues critical to the continued success of U.S. service industires in world markets will be addressed at SERVICES 2000: A Business-Government Dialogue on U.S. Trade Expansion Objectives (November 15, 2000), a conference co-sponsored by the Department of Commerce (DOC) and the Coalition of Service Industries (CSI).

The purpose of the conference is to focus industry's priorities in the current WTO negotiations. The Honorable Sergio Marchi, Chairman of the WTO's Council for Trade in Services and former Canadian Trade Minister, and a senior USTR negotiator will address the conference. Breakout sessions focused on a range of specific industries will allow participants to make detailed recommendations for negotiators.

We will be posting the final recommendations from the conference here as soon as they are available.
